Our Mission
Our mission is to provide educational and supportive services to expecting parents, birth parents, and prospective adoptive parents from all points of views of the adoption triad to create life-long loving families for children.
How Are We Going to Accomplish This?
We believe there is an inadequate amount of education and support being offered to expecting women concerning adoption. During the adoption process and after placement, there is often the existence of unethical
By sharing how Modern Adoption has changed and the control she has in making an adoption plan for her child, we are empowering and educating these women.
We do this with grassroots, boots on the ground, real relationships. We go directly to the expectant mothers who are making this life changing decision. We are committed to helping her weigh all her options and allowing her to make the best decision for her and her baby. Should she decide to parent her child, we will celebrate that decision and direct her to her local pregnancy center, church, and community resources. Should she decide to terminate her pregnancy, we will be there with open arms offering her counseling and no judgement. Should she decide adoption is the right path for her, we assist in getting her the support she deserves from trustworthy adoption professionals.
We support the decision to Parent 100% (53% of women choose this). It is the other 47% of women who are Not Ready to Parent we are here to educate, support, and love.
Together with our supporters, we aspire to be the leaders of change.
We have an ever-growing group of nationwide partners.
-Pregnancy Centers, churches, Outreach centers, Doctors, and Community resources.
Care = Recovery
We have discovered that over half of women who have placed a child did not get enough, if any post-adoption counseling. We feel called to step in and introduce her to local Birth Mom Mentors to offer support and friendship. We assist in finding the right professional counselors for her needs, if that is something she is interested in. After these amazing women have moved forward in their emotional healing, we find that they feel called to join our movement and work in whatever capacity they are able.
